Music

One of the most significant aspects of my life is music. As I go to class, get ready, and even write this, I listen to music. I write music reviews for the Daily Targum. I have attended approximately 45 concerts. Below is my picture when was on my way to my first concert in 2010, Justin Bieber. I had just turned 5 years old. I was hoping to be his “One Less Lonely Girl!”

Reading

I love to read. During the school year I try to read a couple of books each month. I spend most of my free time in the summer reading.

Writing

I am a Journalism/Media Studies, Communication major. I declared my major during my Creative Writing course at Rutgers. I enjoyed the writing assignments and I learned a lot in this class. I am a contributing student writer for the Daily Targum. As I gain experience writing for the paper and the internships I currently have, I will continue to learn and find my voice when writing.

Attending Plays in New York City

One of the reasons I chose to attend Rutgers University was its proximity to New York City. I enjoy going into the City and I have seen several plays. During my time at Rutgers I have seen: Wicked, Moulin Rouge, Sweeney Todd, Hadestown, Chess and Becky Shaw. I have also seen the Christmas Show with the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. I am sure I will be able to add to this list!
